About SummitStone Legal

SummitStone Legal, led by Nicolas Beaumont, focuses on advising public and private companies as well as private equity investors on complex domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, going-private transactions, and public company governance and compliance matters. His practice also includes assisting French, European, and other international clients with corporate finance, securities, and general corporate and commercial matters, and he has acted for issuers and underwriters on initial public offerings, secondary offerings, bought deals, and private placement transactions.

Nicolas’s work spans a wide range of industries, including infrastructure, manufacturing, technology, e‑commerce, mining, food and beverage, financial services, and agribusiness. In addition to his practice, Nicolas plays an active role in the firm’s internal development and inclusion initiatives.

Professional Activities

Nicolas Beaumont is a member of the Paris Bar Association (Ordre des avocats de Paris), the French National Bar Council (Conseil National des Barreaux), and the French-American Bar Association (FABA). He has lectured on corporate law at leading French business schools and has served as an Adjunct Professor of Advanced Corporate Law at a French law faculty.
